Lab-Grown Diamond or Moissanite?
Side by side, the difference comes down to sparkle and budget — not durability. Both are cut to the same precision and built for daily wear.
Lab-Grown Diamonds
Chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds – grown in a controlled setting rather than mined from the earth, with the same hardness and fire.
Moissanite
A distinct gemstone in its own right, prized for even more sparkle than diamond thanks to its higher refractive index, at a more accessible price point.
The Science Behind Every Stone
Deep within the earth, natural diamonds take billions of years to form — carbon compressed under extraordinary heat and pressure until it crystallizes into stone. Our lab-grown diamonds recreate that same process inside a controlled chamber, condensing millennia of natural formation into a matter of weeks.
We grow using chemical vapor deposition (CVD), one of the two industry-standard methods for creating lab-grown diamonds. A thin diamond seed is placed inside a sealed chamber and heated to several hundred degrees Celsius. Carbon-rich gas is introduced and ionized into plasma, allowing pure carbon atoms to bond to the seed one atomic layer at a time until a rough crystal forms — chemically and structurally identical to a diamond pulled from the earth.
Once grown, every stone is cut and polished by hand, to the same grading standards used for mined diamonds. And because it's grown rather than excavated, the process quietly sidesteps the land disruption that comes with traditional mining — without changing anything about the stone itself.
